Middletown Heritage Days and Brunswick Railroad Days were quite successful.  Thanks to Rick and Phyllis Porterfield and Anne long for a great job at  Middletown Heritage Days and to Sharon Schroebel and Marge Magruder for manning the booth at Brunswick RR Days.

Membership Dues

Member ship dues are due January 1, 2002 for membership year 2202.  New members that joined in October, November, or December are paid through membership year 2002.

Web Site and E-mail. The Wild Acres, LLC has developed FSMSB's Web site.  Click on www.FSMSB.org  There are photos, history, newsletters, events and more.  It is a 'work in progress' that will be updated periodically.  Our new E-mail address is info@fsmsb.org

This newsletter is a publication of The Friends of South Mountain State Battlefield, Inc.  Its intent and use is solely to promote South Mountain State Battlefield, which is part of the State Forest and Park Service of the Maryland Department of Natural Resources.  The Friends of South Mountain State Battlefield  are wholly separate from the Park Service.  The Dispatch is published quarterly.  The Newsletter deadline is 10 days prior to the first of the month for the next quarterly issue.  We welcome your submissions to the newsletter and reserve the right to edit and determine placement of all items submitted.
